The Default
The canonical Nix, and the one in your launcher. Peace, a cigar, and no intention of explaining any of it.

System Administrator
Fifteen monitors, arranged in an arc. Fourteen of them are running
htop. The fifteenth is the one with the problem. -

The Thinker
Chin in hand, smoke curling. Working out where the other 85 MB went, which is the only thought in this gallery that also appears in the product.

Hood up, keys lit, face bathed in monitor glow. The glow is green because the theme is green. Nothing is being hacked.

Reclined, drink in hand, wings catching the light. The window is closed, so the monitor is sampling nothing. This is documented behaviour.

The screen says the system is not responding. The sticky note beside it says did you try turning it off and on again, and is signed — Nix.

Face down on the keyboard, cigar somehow still lit. The screen reads process paused, a better tomorrow is still loading. Two items on the list are ticked and take over the world is not one of them.

Suit, tie, briefcase, and a disappointment that goes all the way down. The nameplate on the desk reads Chief Disappointment Officer.

Absurdly muscular, wings fully spread, smoke everywhere. Phase three. He has root.

The one plate where the hat comes off. Everything he starts runs at
nice -n 19, and nothing on this desk is in a hurry. -

Same chimp, different looks. This is what ricing looks like once it gets out of the desktop and onto a catwalk.

Catalogue note
One chimpanzee, sixteen situations. The hat, the hibiscus, the aviators, the daisy-print dress, the fairy wings and the cigar are fixed across every plate, because sixteen unrelated chimps are not a mascot.
Nobody knows what Nix is. The placards here say he. The stylesheet that paints them says she. Both are guesses, neither is authoritative, and the gallery has no plans to settle it.
Every sign, book spine and coffee mug in these was drawn to be read, and none of it is legible at this size. Patience (hard mode). Sleep (optional). Reggae & good systems. Open a plate and go along the shelves.
